Dr. Tori Forbes, Scott Daly, Korey Carter, and the University of Iowa Department of Chemistry has been awarded a $588,755 grant from the Carver Charitable Trust to Enhance Radiochemistry Capabilities at the University of Iowa. This award will support department efforts in continuing to build a nationally renowned, state-of-the-art radiochemistry facility that expands radiomedical infrastructure, supports current research efforts in energy, and enhances curricular development. The upgrades in infrastructure will provide increased capabilities for student education and workforce training and enhance current and future efforts in radiomedicine, nuclear energy, and environmental monitoring/management research.
