Congratulations to Dr. Adam Brummett, Associate Professor of Instruction, for receiving the Award for Outstanding First-Generation Student Advocacy! This award honors one faculty member and one staff member or administrator who supports first-generation students' education and serves as an exemplary advocate for first-generation students at the University of Iowa. As an advocate for first-gen students, Adam has contributed substantially to institutional efforts to better support first-generation students. In addition, he has positively impacted numerous students on an individual basis and worked tirelessly to ensure their success. Adam will be recognized at this year's Awards & Recognition Ceremony on Thursday, March 6th in the IMU International Ballroom at 3:00PM.
