The Department of Chemistry at the University of Iowa invites applications for a Lecturer position beginning August 2024. This is an instructional-track faculty position; the track does not include the possibility of tenure, but otherwise parallels the tenure track with various ranks (Lecturer, Associate Professor of Instruction, Professor of Instruction). The position is renewable in one-year increments for the first three years, and renewable thereafter in three- or five-year increments (depending on rank). As faculty members, Lecturers participate in departmental governance with voting rights.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in chemistry, chemistry education, or a closely related field by the start date to be qualified for the position.
