M.S. Physical Organic Chemistry, Aug. 2013, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE),Edwardsville, IL, USA.
B. S. (2004) and M.S. (2007) Applied Chemistry, University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran.
Research Profile: I am from Marand, East Azerbaijan, Iran. I earned my B.S and M.S. in chemistry from the University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran. I received M.S. degree in physical organic chemistry from SIUE in 2013. I worked on kinetic isotope effects of alcohol dehydrogenase model reactions, where I became interested in protein research. I got an admission from the University of Iowa and now I am pursuing my PhD in Prof. Dey's lab working on proyl-hydroxylase domain enzyme. I spend my free time listening to classical music, watching documentries, TV series, reading.
